The wonderful Mothership got me a whole box of Barry M nail polishes for Christmas including all kinds of paint colours, glitters and other effect polishes; I love Barry M simply because of the huge range of different and quirky nail polishes they do and great prices - you can see the whole range here.
I got inspiration for this design from Kaylah's 'weekly nail' post. She's spot on in saying that blue and gold go great together, so I combined my three blue and gold themed nail polishes and created what, I think, looks like a sort of starry night sky design. I totally loved experimenting with a few colours all together which I've never been able to do before as, up until November, I've spent my entire life biting my nails so never had the urge to paint them and draw attention to them. I've definitely got the urge now though, I can't wait to try out some other combos!
And it's always nice to have something pretty to look at, especially on a grim ol' Monday.
